Jucie Fast Day 2

Cheeze-its have NEVER looked OR smelt so good.

Now, you can’t buy the generic brand or even the alphabet brand, they just don’t taste the same.

NAMEBRAND cheeze-its. There is nothing like them.

Yum.

I slowly closed the box and put them back into the pantry. For one split second I did wonder how they would taste juiced.

In the 24 minute I was in the kitchen tonight, I thought about eating FIVE things. FIVE THINGS!!! What is it in my life that I am trying to FEED?!!!

I woke up this morning feeling VERY famished, almost like the last 4 days had finally just caught up with me.

Wednesday are a hard day for us around here and today especially, I was to prepare for my Bible Study AND I wanted to make some spinach artichoke dip to share with the group. Ruby wanted to get up at 5am, I had to run to the store to buy a thing of cream cheese that I had forgotten, I had to shower and get ready, get Lindy ready, breakfast, and out the door with Ruby and Lindy, and dip, and traffic. Turn around after dropping Lindy off, sit in traffic BACK through the tunnels, all the while losing my temper with Ruby because SHE was fussing (of course), and trying to make it through town to the bread store to get a fresh loaf pumpernickel bread to go with the dip…

LORDY.

And THAT folks is why it is easier to just eat a poptart and call it good.

So, as you can see above, I didn’t even have to time juice anything this morning. Luckily, I planned ahead and while I was at the store at 6:20am this morning, I picked up a green juice in the organic section – scanned it to make sure there weren’t any added sugars. It didn’t taste all that good, so it must have been one of the healthier ones.

My lunch juice was bitter AGAIN. I don’t even know why. My dinner juice wasn’t too bad. I used about 5 handfuls of spinach, 5 carrots and I threw a banana in there. It was pretty tasty. Gotta leave out the cucumbers and celery though and maybe use bok choy for the sodium requirements.

I’m starting to wonder if doing this juice fast is going to have an ADVERSE reaction for me. I’m already bored with the vegetables I have. Yes, thankful that I have the MEANS to get them and that I can eat healthy, but how many variations can I make with carrots, celery, spinach, and cucumbers?

So, I am going to bed. My house is a WRECK but I have to go to bed.
